The Class of 2029 becoming a Henderson County Colonel Night has been rescheduled for Monday, April 21, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. This is a come and go event.
No practice due to the expected weather. After spring break, we will have half-practices in the main gym. You are welcome to attend the other half for more practice on the side of the floor.

Great job to all students who attended the career and co-op fair today and who participated in Career Prep in CharacterStrong the past couple of weeks. We are especially proud of the students who brought their resumes, dressed professionally, and even interviewed for a job this afternoon. The companies in attendance would like to give a special shout-out to the sophomore class, who went above and beyond in their attendance and professionalism during today’s fair.
Welcome back to our boys' basketball team. We are so proud of you for making history at HCHS!
The Band competed in the first-ever SCGC Championships and delivered its best performance of the season! They finished 4th overall, just 1 point away from a bronze medal!
BUT… they have something huge to celebrate— they were the HIGHEST-SCORING KENTUCKY BAND in their class, earning them the title of KENTUCKY STATE CHAMPIONS!!
This season has been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t be more proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and passion.
Congratulations to the Varsity Winter Guard, as they delivered their best performance of the season on Saturday. They had an excellent season, and we are so proud of them.

Students: The annual Powder Puff game is coming up on April 30! Come to Colonel Stadium for football, fight song performances, food trucks, club games, and raffle prizes! The cost is $5 to attend. Ticket presale and team sign ups will begin on April 1st at Colonel Corners Bank. When you build your teams, they should be grade level teams. This event is for students, staff, parents, and anyone else from the community!
The Daniel Pitino Shelter “Colonels CAN keep it CLEAN” donation drive is officially underway and will run until Friday, April 4th. Bring hygiene products and canned goods to your grade level's designated table located in each unit lobby.
Got talent? We would love to showcase you or a group in the 2025 Colonel Cabaret hosted by the HC High School Choir. Colonel Cabaret will be on Monday, May 12, at 6:30 PM in the Cafeteria. Please keep an eye on this feed for more information and to sign up for the event. The deadline to sign up will be Friday, April 18. Carson Weiss has been invited to become a Presidential Fellow at Murray State University, the institution’s most prestigious award. This scholarship includes full tuition, room, and board, and Carson will also enroll in the Honors College. Congratulations, Carson!

PROM - Out-of-School Guest Verification Forms are due no later than this Friday, March 28, 2025. If you have a guest that is out of school and your form is not turned in by this Friday, your guest will not be eligible to come to the Prom.
