The milk being served in our cafeterias this week is Prairie Farms Shelf-Stable Milk—and it's the exact same great milk you know and love!
Here is what makes it special:
✨ Same Great Nutrition: It contains the same vitamins, protein, and calcium as traditional refrigerated milk.
🥛 Same Great Taste: Delicious, fresh, and cold once served!
🔒 How It Works: It undergoes a special Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) process and packaging that keeps it fresh and safe without refrigeration until opened.
Schools nationwide rely on shelf-stable milk for emergency supplies, field trips, summer programs, and unique logistics because it’s convenient, safe, and nutritious.
So enjoy your milk today, and remember... it’s the same great milk, just packaged differently!

Campus Notice: East Parking Lot Closure on June 4, 2026
Please be advised that on Thursday, June 4, 2026, Henderson County High School will install a new air-conditioning unit. Because this installation requires the use of a large commercial crane, the parking lot on the east side of campus (running along the Garden Mile Road side) will be completely closed.
🛑 Key Details & Safety Measures
• When: All day Thursday, June 4, 2026.
• Where: East side parking lot (adjacent to Garden Mile Road).
• Why: A crane will be actively lifting heavy HVAC equipment. For the safety of our students, staff, and visitors, the entire zone must remain clear of vehicles and pedestrians.
🚗 What You Need to Do
• Park Elsewhere: Please utilize the alternate parking lots on the west or main sides of the campus for the duration of the day.
• Expect Delays: Traffic flow around the Garden Mile Road entrance may be slower than usual. Please plan your arrival and departure times accordingly.
• Stay Clear: Do not attempt to enter the barricaded or taped-off areas of the east lot at any time.
Safety is our top priority. We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and flexibility as we make these necessary improvements to our campus comfort and infrastructure.
