What an incredible night! On Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, our Henderson County High School students in the Commonwealth Teen Advocates program (part of the Y-Club) presented their amazing advocacy projects to a panel of community leaders.
These students worked tirelessly to create service projects aimed at helping our community, and they pitched their ideas to the Mayor, County Attorney, local non-profit leaders, and members of the police department to seek support.
We are so proud of the hard work and dedication shown by these young advocates!

Their journey continues! The students will also have the opportunity to present these projects at KYA (Kentucky Youth Assembly) to Kentucky universities for potential scholarship opportunities. We will keep you updated as we learn if any of these fantastic projects move forward!
