It is a great time to be a Colonel!
Currently, we are home to over 2000 students. The Henderson County High School community strives to create a passion for learning in a reflective environment that promotes PRIDE, Preparation, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, and Effort. By working to reach their greatest potential, Henderson County High School students will learn to live as lifelong learners, express themselves effectively, acquire essential knowledge and skills, respect themselves and others and navigate within a variety of communities in their quest for success.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as Principal of Henderson County High School, working alongside the more than 200 faculty and staff members to create an environment of excitement and energy to educate the workforce of tomorrow. The teachers and staff members are hardworking, dedicated individuals teaching rigorous courses to prepare our children for the next level. Many teachers “come early/stay late” to assist students in mastery of their subject. The Henderson County High School website has a wealth of information about academic courses and extracurricular activities, as well as our mission statement, information about faculty and staff, and other important announcements. In addition, our Youth Resources Center offers school supplies as well as other necessary items for those students who may need them.
It takes a village to raise a child, and the nurturing doesn’t stop once they enter high school. I encourage you to take an active role in your child’s high school career and get the HCHS parent portal. My administrative team is available to assist you in any way. Please feel free to contact us at 270-831-8800.
